As we've seen with Amazon's Prime "Day" you can make up any company holiday you want. You just need to give it a name, promote it enough to your customers and industry, and repeat it every year.

Really it's probably only 10% more effort than your usual spring/summer/fall sale.

But then you own it and can reap the benefits.
