Customer reviews for your business and products are important to build up your social proof.
Last week I was thinking about something, that's a lot of really valuable information that is locked away outside your company.
You would hope that the review companies are stable and wouldn't ever lose data, but why risk it?
Mobster voice: You wouldn't want anything to happen to those reviews, now would you?
Today's tip is to backup your company and product reviews.
The process will be different for every app, but at the very least you should be able to export an Excel or CSV file that includes all of the reviews. Save them someplace safe like Dropbox, Google Drive, or Amazon S3 (or all of them).
It should only take you a few minutes to do but if you ever need them, you could save yourself a lot of headache.
(And while you're at it, set yourself a monthly reminder to re-export these every month)
After you've finished that, take a look at JSON-LD for SEO so you can get your review data into Google's Rich Results.
With 16 review app integrations, there's a good chance that your reviews app is already integrated. (And if not, feel free to ask and I'll see what I can do to add it)
