When looking at your Shopify store's metrics it's important to compare how they are performing versus your past performance.
Comparing your store against the industry or a competitor can be useful for benchmarking, but it doesn't tell you much about how you've improved. Only that you're better, equal, or worse than the others.
This week Repeat Customer Insights had the first of its new historic insight checks released.
Now the app will automatically check your Average Order Value for each period and tell you if your Average Order Value is lower than your historic average.
This will make it much easier to spot downturns while they are happening.
This new insight is available on the Entrepreneur and Growth accounts, the two that include the historic data analyses.
With the infrastructure in place for historic insight checks, my plan is to add more over time for you to use.
If you haven't installed Repeat Customer Insights yet, it's an easy way to get a detailed look at your customer behavior. It comes with a 14-day free trial so you can see how it works before paying.
